Do you mean the bondage photos by porn? Because I don't consider that art, I consider it porn.
Daily deviations are not chosen for their artistic merit. One person suggests it to the other and if the other person likes it, it is selected.

it's all the popular deviations, too. it's all anime porn and shit like that. i find it so uninteresting and just ... yeah. excessively gross. i went to double check the front page just then to prove my point and it's better than usual - three half naked women that are in presented 'artfully' or even interestingly. porn. also, i am totally sick of the photographs of lame emo kids posing like it's myspace. it can't even be called fashion photography because it doesn't show any fashion! just portraits of them 'emoting'.

Well that's the popular culture at the moment.
It's shoved into people's faces so they start to think that they should like it. But most of it has nothing of substance behind it.

It's very frustrating, I agree. You have to try and ignore it and look for more and try and be a better artist than what pop culture dictates you should be!

yeah, seriously. i like people who have their own style and know what they like and stuff, but when it's just ... following the same trend ... i dunno. they've forgotten all about the subculture and just want to look 'cool'. i'm lucky that i know so many people who ARE into the subculture and know about it and love it for that and not just the popular factor.

but yeah, blah. it frustrates me. p.s i'm out of credit but i will probs try to call you later if you don't get this~ is tomorrow the same as a normal day? like 9-4?
